we've tried watching other animes together. hack. full metal alchemist. tokjo majin. robin witch hunter. no offense enjoys these series hated them. thought scriptwriting horrible. dialogue terrible in mind. didn't care happened next.

1. realistic animation (no goofy dramatic childish looking characters)
2. mindtwists every episode (l , light's battle of wits, logic, detective work, reasoning)
3. believablity. anime told me there magical apple fiends called shinigami write names notebook dipped in fairy tears results in persons death , ate eagerly. deathnote had defined rules. loopholes non-existant , if were used in plot. reactions media kira, reactions of government , police believable.
4. moral grey area. lines of right , wrong blurred. kira mass murderer rooted him or l, or both though both had questionable methods.
5. amazing music
6. humour , emotional pulls alike.
7. cared characters, rooted them, wanted see how ended

1. great lessons. feel wiser person watching series. uncle iroh's lessons alone worth watching series
2. character development
3. richly invented culture , diversity
4. thought out action (each bending style based on differed real life martial art. battles creative)
5. hilarious characters! sokka fantastic! , he's average - no special powers, still amazing character.
6. lighthearted riddled mature, heavy issues (genocide, war, murder, brainwashing of people , children, politics, torture)
7. great music!

things hate other anime i've watched:
1. chicks wearing bra armour. seriously, gonna block that? bedroom woman or man , put on real armour.
2. high school students being "special" while still facing high school drama. i'm 20, don't wanna deal stuff again left it.
3. tooo mystery. little detail given. kept secret. there suspense , there not giving me enough know what's going on or me care.
