How do I format the C drive in windows 7 without deleting system32?


formatting means deleting data , resetting whole disk/partition empty state. not possible keep directories during formatting. can save data external disk, os-related directories won't work if copy them after formatting.

i want clean out c drive in windows 7 (in safe mode because have been having problems.) computer can run programs faster, along making more space new programs, important file folders on drive. windows os directory, etc.
