What to wear to Mexico?


i'm going cancun week on 7th , need shop. far i'm bringing 2 swimsuits, beachy dress made of ropish material, thin coverup, sandals, flip flops, couple pairs of shorts, , walking shoes (would toms good?). kind of dresses should bring nighttime? hear people there pretty conservative(?) , i'd respect don't want blood boil. thanks(:
