Would you buy a Jeep Wrangler if it had a diesel engine?


i've old, '93 model love it's lot of fun. breaks down every often. but, parts cheap , easy install. however, fuel economy rather poor , understand new ones aren't better. since, these aren't fast cars begin with, i've been wondering if having 1 small, turbo-diesel 4 banger idea? god knows it'd have low end torque works off road.
