16 and alone in Paris?


going paris dad , don't think want take friend (big drama, long story). though dad there working practically day , hates shopping spending of time traveling around , visiting sites alone.

know staying in latin quarter , have been paris once before when 8 have brief idea of how use metro, not tourist/have accessible wallet etc. take french @ school have basic knowledge of language , have cellphone me @ times.

wondering:
-is safe travel around paris myself?
-where find other teens age?
-is there area stay away or time of night when shouldn't alone?
-is possible have fun in paris yourself? can social @ times enjoy personal time.
