American School algebra 2 help!?
giving answers counter-productive. if can't them, should re-work of course! however, here few hints:
first one, need remember if multiply 2 roots together, result root of answer. in other words √2 times √32 √64. i'm sure can that! likewise √2 times √18 gives straightforward , can subtract.
second one, i'd approach remembering formula a^2 - b^2 , multiplying top , bottom same thing, rational numbers on bottom.
questions using i, remember it's (imaginary) square root of minus one. squared -1 - , thus, instance, square root of -9 3i. rational numbers @ bottom of division term, multiply top , bottom same thing until looks more friendly.
simplify: √2(√32 - √18)
√x-√y/ √x+√y
(2i)*3
1/√-9
-1/3+i
these problems need finish exam! appreciated!
