How to convince my mum to let my go on my school trip to Italy?


it's italy 2 weeks , costs around $5000, includes airfares, travel on buses, accommodation, activities , of food. want go because best friend going , alone @ school because other friends either in grade lower me, higher me or going different school. never chance go italy (or other country matter) , think great experience. mum says things " it's expensive , have pay passport ( i'll need 1 anyway) rest of food, spending money , injections( though don't need any. looked up). , should learn more italian first. friends went in 2011 said learned lots of italian there because couldn't figure out how change language on tvs, , when watched pokemon ( yes me , friends fans) sunk in. other reason is unfair, because younger sister going on interstate girl guide camp tomorrow cost under half of camp, week, sleep in tents , unlike camp, defiantly not part of curriculum.
said before if don't go alone @ school, because school year 7 year 10 , have go the senior campus. 2 of friends there, 2 in year below me, 1 left school, leaves 1 person in grade, in italy.
i've been looking forward italy since year 7 ( going in year ten) , overseas school camp since know existed!

if has ideas, strategies, me convince mum let me go, please, please help.
