Why does Dutch or German sound so much more "intelligent" than American English?


how british english?

listening dutch radio station..and presenter sounded refreshingly "sober , intelligent"..and avast anti virus software updated..(i have yet figure out how turn thing off doesnt this)..and said in superficial "corporate world ,"have nice day" voice.."your avast data base has been updated!"

reason? , people in germany or holland think of american english? (especially "have nice day" corporate world accent? , why?)

how british people? how different dutch or german?
