Can anyone help a bird is stress please?


have got little sparrow came inside house , unfortunately stuck mouse/rat glue trap. got little bird of trap, tried clean glue off body difficult do. couldn't take off glue. bird struggling stand or move body parts still stuck each other. felt poor bird shivering tried dry towel , wrapped , gave water. bird drank water stressed , eat (i put baby rice cereal mixed water). have no experience when comes pets , hope 1 can provide guidance save little bird.
live in auckland, new zealand. sunday afternoon 6.1.2013 6:38pm local time. afraid there no vet open help. can you?
