Advice on using multimeter to find amp draw on car battery?


have 22 year old toyota hilux pick up. if leave 2 days battery goes compleatly flat. (tried 3 new batteries)

have got hold of multimetre , want test how many amps being drawn battery when ingnition off.

have removed radio , turned off interior light. basic car no computers, should have battery draw clock (as far i'm aware)

have removed positive battery lead can test between lead , terminal.

on multimeter have red lead in "com" , black lead in "10a dc"

, have selected 10a dial.

ingnition off, gave me reading of 1.09 after counting down around 2.5

1.9 amps being drawn battery?

p.s engine component clicks when make connection. ingnition off, what's draining battery
