How can I convince my dad that a 550 watt power supply isn't a big difference from a 250 watt power supply?


other day bought new graphics card computer needed better power supply run graphics card, going until dad found out wattage had jumped 250 watt 550 watt. agreed him because didn't want pain , took out, said make electricity bill fly in price. told of friends situation , said wouldn't of difference in price down conversion of mains watts how computer takes out of watts , leaves whats left on , not wasted or that.

question asking correct thinking won't cost more run pc these watts , graphics card, , how can put words make clear him it's not going cost more using before.
