I accidentally got oil paints to go with my daughters air dry modeling clay, will these work?
"oil paints" in kind artists paint linseed oil based , must thinned , cleaned turpentine, etc?
or petroleum-solvent based paints (sometimes called "model paints" or "enamels," etc) must thinned , cleaned paint thinner, etc?
(both different acrylic paints--which *water* based).
if bought "air-dry" clay daughter (also water-based, , 1 naturally dry in air harden), can use virtually paint on though oil paints take lot longer dry, , if non-permanent paints used paint , object need sealed after drying.**
if bought true "modeling clay," it's it's plasticine-type clay , can never hardened (and isn't painted on).
