snowboards indeed able ridden either goofy or regular.

"directional" snowboards have wider, longer, softer nose , narrower, shorter, stiffer tail. binding mounts set bit board's center. these boards intended riding single stance. can mount bindings either foot @ front, define stance.

"directional twin" snowboards have nose , tail shaped identically. nose have softer flex , tail stiffer flex. binding mounts placed either in center of board, or set of center (less directional board though). bindings mounted in preferred stance (either regular or goofy), can ride switch without change in shape of new "nose" or distance between new "nose" , forward foot.
