Is it OK to keep my heating pad plugged in 24/7 for my Ball Python?


unfortunately other 2 posters wrong.

ball pythons ground dwelling nocturnal animal---what means prefer/do best/only take in heat below (belly heat). without tend have issues digesting. heat lamps shine heat down above (back heat).
plus heat lamp not penetrate cave heat inside.

heat lamps ok helping keep ambient air temps warm enough, heat pad should on @ times keep warm side snake.

i brought him home today , put heating pad under area rock cave located. right laying in cave (where has been day) assume must quite warm in there. ok leave heating pad plugged in, or have unplug every hours or so?
