if meant question in purely theoretical sense mankind merely erased magic in recent tv specials , leaves else intact, number of carnivores become local alpha species. canine packs have advantage in places. pulled off pretty fancy trick in mastering entire globe extent. rin tin tin not going become king of new world after we're gone though. don't expect doggie governments or dolphins arising deep or such things. ecology around earth settle boring balance until next extinction after that.
