What is wrong with this student?


she's quiet. whenever call on her, sounds angry @ me, still answers question nonetheless. there times when says right things, , other times when outright says "i don't know," or has think things through before saying them. i've talked counselor, , counselor told me sharp student says profound things. why student able open counselor, not me in classroom? it's if hates speaking out loud class. also, speaks in quiet voice. it's if can barely hear sometimes. it's easier handling extroverted students, i'm trying if she's introvert? ways can speak/participate more in class? i've called on in class many times, either gets mad/nervous/annoyed/quiet. it's tough handle? never asks help? when needs it? she's doing decent in class. in fact, has 90%. how can help? class 1 involves expressing opinions. i'm teaching media/political science.
