Can an insurance company lower their initial written pain & suffering offer if I counter offer?


thank answers. lucy, wanted let know info because of experience listed, you're former claim adjuster. until now, didn't state actual amounts insurance company has offered because paranoid. anyway, initial offer offered flaky/non communicative adjuster 5,000. classified injury (2 disc protrusions causing chronic pain) soft injury , claimed there wasn't room go in pain & suffering amount. it's been 1 year since accident , company's statute of limitation 2 years date of accident. after complaining initial adjuster's customer service (never called when said would. went on vacation 3 times during year while handling claim. lost 4 important documents), different adjuster took on claim. had threatened lawyer because of negligence in losing paperwork , dragging p
