if wish change question "how hard foreign pediatrician find job in canada?"... depends. medical doctors in high demand. however, canada has low birth rate (1.63 or so) , aging population, pediatricians in less demand. still... overall. however, won't find job offer if try limiting job search specific city... smaller one. @ 300,000 people, you've limited search 1/100th of canada , literally single hospital , few clinics. widen search , you'd find lots of medical positions in ontario and/or canada.

not need retake schooling in canada. while each province has own medical licensing systems... accept various foreign degrees (at least western countries, china, india, japan, etc.) still need pass various provincial exams medical license, employers provide information, courses prepping, etc. cic web site includes programs obtaining canadian certifications regulated industries (specifically doctors).
