If I evolved from actinobacteria, did they have a genetic blueprint or instuctions?

answer "yes , no" (don't hate that? :-)

dna molecule made of 4 smaller molecules (called "nucleotides" or "bases"), guanine, adenine, thymine, , cytosine. these 4 components joined in dna molecule, in long chains. different organisms have different arrangements of these 4 bases in dna.

so, components of dna in distant ancestral bacteria cell same 4 bases found in human dna. our human genes , chromosomes made of same basic ingredients bacteria: guanine, adenine, thymine, , cytosine.

in sense, yes: genetic blueprint humans , other forms of life existed in ancestral bacterium. human dna not include additional chemicals or ingredients, or different genetic processes, compared bacteria. need make human in ancestral cell.

however, bacterial dna not same human dna. simple bacteria might contain few hundred thousand base pairs in dna, encoding few thousand genes. human genome larger - contains around 3,200 million base pairs, encoding around 23,000 genes.

in sense, no: ancient actinobacteria did not contain genetic blueprint humans or other life. there noting "inevitable" how bacteria evolve in future. dna changes during each reproduction: combinations of nucleotide bases, , number of bases. if new version of dna produces organism survives quite well, new combination of genes persist (ie "selected" natural selection). if new combination produces organism isn't quite original, mutation tends die out.

process gets repeated on many millions , billions of years, organisms arise many variations of 4 bases in dna gives rise diversity of organism see today.

interestingly, human genome no means largest or complex genome known. compared our 3.2 gigabases, marbled lungfish, protopterus aethiopicus, has around 130 gigbases - largest vertebrate genome discovered far. lungfish regarded quite primitive animals alongside humans, have larger genome. many plants larger still.

hope helps.

were genetics "coded" speak @ "birth", need of environmental factors switch on , off these genes making today? (a bit circuit board)
