Poll what cheese would you serve with a strawberry rhubarb preserve at a wine and cheese party?


mix preserves either cream cheese, blue cheese, or quality goat cheese. blue cheese great combo preserves. serve crackers.

make strawberry rhubarb cheese ball!

16 ounces shredded cheddar or blue cheese..or mix. experiment!
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon prepared horseradish (yep, sounds strange, works!)
8 ounces of preserves
garnish pecan bits

instructions

1. beat first 6 ingredients on medium speed of electric mixer.
2. roll mixture ball. wrap tightly plastic wrap , refrigerate 12 hours or 2 days.
3. remove cheese ball plastic wrap , roll in pecan bits.
4. stir preserves pour on top, or make indention on top , spoon middle.
5. enjoy!
