Why won't birds come to my yard?


been 2 weeks since put out bird feeders haven't seen birds. feeders pine cones peanut butter , seed on them. hung in tree , tall bush. thought birds come since winter , need food haven't seen @ , feeders don't have been eaten off of. why birds not coming eat?
