thank you...your title jogged mind,
......it`s called gyroscope.......
not had girl
foil pinned on gaily whirl
, whip did whipper-will
(i`ll bet we`d love this, still!).
chalked-on circles whizz whip whizz
admiration filled fizz
drawing-pins add gleam -
finest game you`ve ever seen
beats video-games - cream of crop
painted dance of spinning top!

(dedicated beth knew i`d write :d...).

i`m wondering if u.s. had `wooden top & whip` craze,
of concern adults wrong spin
send top crash..through window..
