How to prevent voice strain and keep falsetto voice throughout song?


hi guys,

think strain voice when singing. example let's take maroon 5's "payphone". (i'm tenor btw.)
voice get's worn out before chorus. can't falsetto in chorus.
i'm not sure if 2 related can prevent both?
