What kind of graphics card should i get?


have bad news ya, i'm practically in same boat , have been researching hardware work on new build.

first off, i'm assuming not have motherboard pci express x16 2.0 slot. severely limits high end gpus 2.0, , 3.0 has begun take over.

also, cpu low-mid range, meaning if pcie 1.0 gpu card, may not able utilize full potential; bottlenecked cpu limitations.

computer not better yours, , can barely play sims 3 @ tolerable level.

advice save 600-700 dollars , whole new system together. depending on able salvage might not need much. that, can have relatively high end system future-proof @ least 3 years. not mention fact if takes while save, prices drop.

i have 100$ maximum spend , wondering graphics card sims 3 , other pc games?
