Why are Americans less intellectual than Europeans?


culture? have more history continental community americans. of refer "history" feels me american foreign history, european history, far less impact on life has on yours. feels less of priority me. people keep on information feel merits mental effort. example, remember studying charlemagne when young. i'm 32 years old , i've never needed information i've never bothered read on , refresh memory. can't remember was. can give happy 32 year-old solid argument why should read on foreign historical figure?

ps: far geography, that's stupid don't know more. totally agree you. argument applies history only.

for example, europeans (most of time) more knowledgeable history, geography, etc americans. why americans not interested in kind of information?
