little fish don't swim out alone , expect survive. sure might eat them it's more starve. life in open sea follows water currents . small stuff, plankton. @ mercy of waters currents. looking plankton. not because eat it, because bottom of food chain. small stuff may eat plankton. bigger stuff eats them. bigger stuff , on. chases around currents push little things round , round. thing keep in mind is, out you, if fish.there safety in numbers stick . big stuff whales can travel find favorite foods.
