To what extent is advertising true?


in uk adverts not allowed lie.
miss out truth.
example ads confectionery not remind product rots teeth , makes fat.
alcohol adverts not tell excessive alcohol intake can cause cirrhosis of liver irreversible.
canned products sold "containing no preservatives." though makes them better other brands. of course don't. canning preserves food no brand needs preservatives
told in advert can safely ignored.
