Non-White Female Travelers in Europe?


3 females of indian origin thinking of traveling europe in summer. have narrowed our options denmark or austria/switzerland.
questions -
- hate think people in country 'racist' or 'non racist' can understand coming when ask safe travel around? wont traveling late @ night or whatever should expect nonchalant behavior locals or cold , distant or worse? thinking of staying @ hostels...again there reason not feel safe?
- traveling without car (so using public transport system) - super expensive? advise?
- have traveled both countries - 1 recommend? interested in scenic beauty, history , friendly locals (not nightlife).
- other country recommend?
