Where do the final remains of body go when it's done deteriorating?

when it's done deteriorating, have bones left, , don't go anywhere, or @ least not tens of thousands of years.

if had meant while it's deteriorating, can try out yourself. hunk of meat , bury it, other animals don't it, not in box, can see nature it. granted, insects still it, not in 1 bite.

if don't want insects it, part of deterioration, can keep in house, suggest cover (bury it) doesn't stink, reaction deterioration.
