Flickering monitor light?


starting few days ago, when turn on computer, monitor light flickers. goes straight blue (powered) off or flicks blue yellow off. cycles that.

now, first thought video card dying isn't part in computer itself? because when turn computer off, monitor light keeps flickering. if monitor trying signal when there's no signal there...if video card problem, doubt it'd continue when computer's shut down.

video card dying or monitor that's screwed?

(i checked connections , cables. they're secure.)

also, monitor has randomly resumed normal function past few days (though still requires constant restarts , sheer luck before decides work) resume flickering nonsense when reboot following day.
