How long does it take to master organic chemistry?


don't know level mean i'm second year chemistry student , have 7 hours lectures week + 10 hours personal study + lab work each week. still not feel have 'mastered' subject if see simple organic molecule (like 2,4-dichloro benzyl alcohol) on medicine packet draw structure , predict few reactions/analysis results.

depend on whether tutor through difficult bits too. reading chemistry isn't easy if book (i recommend clayden's organic chemistry textbook advanced chemistry text book) @ least notice own progression.

if study 6 hours/day 7 days every week?
had introductory course want able solve advanced problems.
