Is it better to be right or be in favor of the majority?

learned during military service 1 person can indeed in-step , entire company (the marching squad) can out-of-step. when 1 marching rhythm, left foot goes down on downbeat of music---something paid attention in bootcamp remain in-step. company, however, seemed have deaf ear , perpetually out of step. aware spectators assume 1 off-cue because alone, tell not true, held ground until ones had lost beat did step-shift , got in-step.

if know beyond shadow of doubt correct (i don't saying "right" anymore because militant extremists in control of gop have turned being "right" dirty word"), stand on principle. if, however, close-minded, nutjob fundamentalist, , rigidly narrow in religious beliefs think better else's beliefs, keep views yourself, in "judge not, lest ye judged" , don't try cram them down else's collective throat.

is better to seek out , promote truth, or conform misguided ideas of majority sake of peace?
