Question about light bulbs.?


light bulb produces light because filament composed of thin wire looped around lot high surface area. produces enough heat filament glow , give off heat. normally, filament might combust, bulb filled gas such argon, not reactive , stable, , not feed fire. bulb burn out, argon-filled environment keeps catching fire. there no smoke because there no burning.

if light bulbs have enough heat light whole room , burn finger if touch them, why there no smoke inside bulb? makes them light without smoke?
