Aren't most cases, if not all, of evolution really just adaptation?


carnivores have sharp teeth eat other animals with, while herbivores have flat teeth chew plants with. surely these things animals adapted because things needed creature survive, , not caused random mutations, right? mean, understand natural selection: weak die while strong live, therefore ones positive mutations live... being said, aren't "mutations", not random, caused need survive?
