bring light, not lucifer,
not cruel , stinging sharpest truth,
nor harsh interrogation's officer,
nor gleaming serpent's poisoned tooth;

when truth , beauty blaze double stars -
prodigy turns night day -
or when cool venus warms, aligned mars,
double light dances on bay;

, won't see me cringe away this,
frightened creature lapsing night;
rise greet sun of dazzling bliss,
1 true lover, bring light.
