Can you get hired as a teacher with visible tattoos?

, in current economy - thousands of teachers out of work - there many qualified candidates not pose potential parent problem.

work in los angeles - not conservative town :)- , know of no teacher hired tattoos.

i'm curious. know have teachers (or have had) tattoos on feet, can see in summer. however, want teacher, i've been debating tattoo on wrist , 1 on collarbone. want make sure won't ruin plans.
