Is this right; i bought a book and looked at the common buzzard page it said buteo buteo buteo?

correct. buteo buteo latin common buzzard, third 'buteo' subspecies. red tailed hawk buteo jamaicensis, there several subspecies. example b.j. jamaicensis (so buteo jamaicensis jamaicensis) subspecies found in jamaica , west indies. b.b.buteo dominant subspecies in europe.

edit: cal king, not correct. vulture vulture, buzzard soaring hawk in genus buteo...buteo translates buzzard. usage of "buzzard" in terms of vulture misnomer. hawk used in americas, whereas buzzard used in europe, asia, africa, etc.

is not meant buteo buteo, other birds well, or have wrong
