How many years of college are required for a future Animal Behaviorist?


in couple years i'm planning on going college animal behavior , ethology. i've read conflicting information on amount of years required.
i'm still not 100% sure exact job/career i'd go after completing education, few i've considered can benefit major either zoo curator, zoo animal behaviorist or dog trainer.
of these career paths 6-8 years? make sure. additional information great :d thanks.
