Why does violin sounds different in orchestra?


reason fact violins in orchestra working blend , stay behind soloist. listening large group of violins, rather one. soloist playing in such way unique tone can heard, , attempting stand out rather blend in orchestra. also, oftentimes soloist can amplified microphone or otherwise. furthermore, stand in front of orchestra, closer audience.
