Am I dyslexic? Help!!?

wary of online tests, not conclusive proof of dyslexia, can useful have formal testing if indicates may have dyslexia.

these assessments comprehensive, , done qualified specialist in learning disorders, such dyslexia. assessor @ ability read, write, spell, maths, memory, sequencing skills, language skills, auditory , visual processing skills, balance skills, visual tracking skills. ask if have close family members (parent, grand parent, uncle, aunts) learning disorder, such dyslexia, dyspraxia, auditory & visual processing problems. want know if had ill health such ear infections.

general practitioner cannot diagnose dyslexia or other learning disorder, , neither can optometrist unless trained & accredited such.

speak parents or school counselor concerns, , show them information on dyslexia. may organize assessed if believe worth it, or parents can, these tests not cheap.


both daughter , dyslexic , have irlens syndrome , adhd.

i think might dyslexic. whenever read out loud, words jumbled , read slowly. grammar stinks , can't spell save life. took online test said partly dyslexic don't know. help!!
