How do you figure out your gpa for college?

take grades , assign them points. a+=4, b=3, c=2, d=1, f=0
(a school counsellor can tell values in-between grades a-, b+ etc., , counselor may able tell gpa school's computer records.)
typically, take 5 or 6 classes per semester, add value of grades, divide number of classes.

example
1st semester 3 a+ , 3 b's = 12+9
2nd semester 4 a+ , 2 b's = 16+ 6.
add all: 12+9+16+6 = 43. divide 12, , grade point average of 3.58

keep adding grade points every semester, , divide total number of classes taken.
