Is it possible to build speakers as good as Polk and possibly cheaper too?


aware of kits part-express, tutorials online, books, , diy forums. have tools , understand (somewhat) basic principles of how sound , drivers work.

but, lack experience. possible regular person build speaker polk speaker, tsi100 or higher level rti series speaker , cheaper? parts-express drivers enough assuming build enclosure? driver(s) enough?

also, i've seen many crossover circuits online. components not appear expensive. there different crossover circuits found online "big capacitors" , ones pros make?

i'd make speaker of quality of tsi100 or older rti85. help.
