Compressed Natural gas vehicles (CNG)?


wondering if natural gas fuel lot cheaper petrol(gasoline)
why car manufacturers don't produce car run on natural gas (switchable between petrol/natural gas).
know if car user wanted install cng tank, after he/she bought car he/she has install in cng installation workshop, , go (government appointed department) test car , obtain approval. isn't troublesome?
maybe reason many people reluctant use natural gas fuel vehicle.
