Is this normal behaviour for a cockatiel?


it's normal. birds stressed moving can go of shock state. can sit still without moving hours before snapping out of it. other birds may stop eating few days.
if bird hasn't moved after day or hasn't eaten after 2 days, i'd go vet.

oh, cage placing can play part in behaviour well. new bird best placed in spot has view of room, without lot of people walking past him.

suspect bird fine , needs time accustomed new environment.

we received cockatiel , isn't moving around lot, sitting in 1 spot, it's new don't know expect... tips? beginner cockatiels
