Want to travel Europe with friend before we leave for college?


friend , midwest usa , love travel , see world before part ways college (currently second semester juniors in high school). plan on having career in foreign language, possibly teacher, exciting me. unfortunately because come small school know english , 4 years of high school spanish. because want able have money studying abroad in college, , plans on getting phd less money spend better. there kinks have work out. (1) won't 18 until start college in fall, have issues traveling summer before when 17? (2) polite , courteous people there, i'm afraid since not know language insulting them. problem? also, how able around , things that? (3) don't know start when comes planning thing. don't know reasonable haven't set budget or how long stay etc. whole thing in idea phase if of have pointers, or places start , go there helpful. thanks!
