How many Christmas gifts did your children receive?


daughter 5 , participated in lot of charity events, nursing home trips, etc. daughter's papa became ill , used christmas money travel see him. passed away on christmas morning. anyway, daughter's been super distracted family being in, things have settled down , feel bad didn't receive except few little stocking toys , gift cards family members. when people ask daughter got christmas holds little wind toy dances , says "this , coloring book crayons." got little more (clothes, new snow boots) highlights of gifts. feel bad when people "that's it? bad year?" thoughts?
