What form of government did the united states adopt after the revolution?


first post revolution government in weak federal government states having near complete autonomy. drafted under articles of confederation. gov had no power. not mint $$, had no power on american commerce, and, importantly, had no power tax. way got revenue ask individual states cash. can guess, did not happen often. because of these failings, many leaders around newly indpendent states decided had change. led constitution have today being written , adopted in 1789.
