Whats the difference between Ag2 and 2Ag?

in equation, ag2 means need 2 ag, or 2 silver atoms balance whatever combining with. eg. ag2o (you need 2 ag balance o because ag has charge of 1, , o has charge of 2)

2ag coefficient. use when balancing in reactant-product situation.
eg. agcl + br2 --> agbr + cl2 : skeleton equation
2agcl + br2 --> 2agbr + cl2: balanced equation

helps! :)

its stupid question confusing! think they're both same. please explain. thanks!
