How are actors paid for films?


depends on actor, agent, , deal struck. famously, alec guinness took small pay star wars 1% share of box office receipts. didn't think film make money, liked george lucas. of course, made millions! tom cruise produces/executively produces own films - actor, takes no fee, producer does, , gets percentage of box office based on both jobs. vast majority standard fee, of course.

•are paid percentage?
•are paid amount depending on air time?
