How hard is it to play the violin, and how long does it take to get decent at it?


i'm violin player. hard. when first started, violin felt foreign , weird, after while gets better. also, when first start, when play notes, fingers slow because don't know put them. takes @ least 1 year decent, or @ least enough show people. when hear professionals playing violin, played 10+ years sound perfect. right now, have been playing 5 years, , hard. suggest teacher tells fix, not teacher tells youre , dont improve. have learn notes, theory, , many other things. thats why highly suggest teacher teaches home , not @ music store
